Arizona Flowers
(2023)

These are two murals I painted in a home in Arizona. The first spans across five walls, creating an overarching bay window effect. The client wanted a fun way to pay homage to their state, so I used the native Arizona flower lantana and abstractly painted clusters of them arching over their dining room. I also made sure to use a sunset-warm-toned color palette to reference the sunny brightness of Arizona. The second piece took inspiration from the stained glass decorating many homes in the community the client lived in. I also made sure to include many bright cacti and succulents to highlight the beautiful desert scenery the client is surrounded by outside and a bicycle to reference the client's small-knit retirement community.
